A Guide to Cooking in the Rogues Den

Many players use the Rogues den to cook. This is for multiple reasons.

First, the majority of players wishing to get 99 Cooking without tons of money to burn. Therefore there are plenty of people to socialise with.

Second, there is a fire next to the bank. The fire is constantely burning, and Emerald Benedict (the Banker) only moves 1 square every half hour or so.

Finally, the Rogues den is looked upon as the unofficial Cooking Guild.

If you wish to cook in the Rogues den, please bear in mind that it is a fire. Therefore, you will be burning more than on a range, and you can only cook fish.

Set your fish up in your bank as shown on the right. It is advisable to bring Cooking Gauntlets if you are cooking Lobster, Swordfish or Shark. The following table will show burn levels with and without Gauntlets (with is in brackets). The xp given is shown in square brackets ([])

Levels of Burning for various Fish
Tuna 63 (63) [100]
Lobster 74 (68) [120]
Swordfish 86 (81) [140]
Monkfish 89 (89) [150]
Shark never (94) [210]
At level 94 Cooking it is best to Cook Shark XP-wise.

Good Luck and Happy Cooking!
